Working Principle of transformer.

Transformer is a device for exchanging AC voltage, resistance and impedance. When there is AC current in the primary coil, ac flux will be generated in the iron core (or magnetic core) to induce voltage (or current) in the secondary coil.
The transformer is composed of iron core (or magnetic core) and coil. The coil has two or more windings, among which the windings connected to the power supply are called primary coil, and the other windings are called secondary coil.
High Frequency Transformer Core
High-frequency transformer is a power transformer whose working frequency exceeds the intermediate frequency (10kHz), which is mainly used as high-frequency switching power transformer in high-frequency switching power supply, and also as high-frequency inverter power transformer in high-frequency inverter welding machine. High-frequency transformer is the most important component of switching power supply, and the ratio of turns of each winding coil of high-frequency transformer determines the output voltage. In switching power supply, high frequency transformer is an important component for energy storage and transmission. High-frequency transformer should have the characteristics of small leakage inductance, small coil distribution capacitance and small coupling capacitance between coils.
According to the working frequency, it can be divided into several grades: 10kHz -- 50kHz,50kHz -- 100kHz,100kHz -- 500kHz,500 khz-1 MHz, more than 1MHz.
