About The Replacement Method Of The Gas Stove Ignition Transformer Module

The working principle of a gas stove ignition: gas pipe → valve body orifice → gas valve core → electromagnetic valve → injector → nozzle (mixing with air for the first time) → burner head → air gate → flame spreader (mixing with air for the second time), ignites upon encountering fire. The gas spark igniter is an important component of a gas stove, serving as the main function of the ignition controller to assist the gas stove by generating an electric spark, allowing the gas stove to ignite. Method for replacing the ignition transformer module of a gas stove:

1. Identify the input voltage of the ignition controller. The gas spark igniter has input voltages of 3.7V/5V/12V/220V.

2. Distinguish the positive and negative poles of the input line. Before connecting the power, it is necessary to distinguish the positive and negative poles of the ignition transformer module. The ignition controller generally uses colors to distinguish the poles, such as red for positive and black for negative, or red for positive and white for negative.

3. The gas stove ignition controller must correctly connect all the wire colors and functionalities before it can be powered on. The ground wire must be connected to the line that is connected to the gas stove's own bracket. The high voltage ignition wire and the induction wire of the gas spark igniter must not be tested against each other, as this will cause the induction system to fail until it is scrapped. The high voltage wire and induction wire should also not be too long, as this will affect the high voltage ignition strength and sensitivity.

4. The ignition needle of the high voltage ignition controller must not be grounded, as this will affect the lifespan of the high voltage coil of the gas stove igniter. Grounding the induction needle will lead to poor induction, causing it to alarm and stop operating. The high voltage arcing distance of the ignition needle of the gas spark igniter should be 3-6MM; it should not be too wide, otherwise, it is very easy to encounter ignition failure during use, and it can easily burn out the gas stove igniter.

5. Replacing the ignition transformer module requires a certain level of electrical knowledge. If you lack this knowledge, please have a professional perform the replacement to avoid causing injury or death.
