The Difference Between High Voltage Coil And Igniter:

First let me introduce the igniter and the high voltage coil separately.

The igniter is commonly known as the electronic igniter. The igniter refers to a device that can provide enough energy to ignite gas, fuel, etc. in an instant and can stabilize the flame. Igniters are divided into commercial stoves and civilian stoves. Gas stove igniters are mostly pulse igniters. The pulse igniter is a pulse high-frequency oscillator composed of electronic components. A tip discharge is performed, and gas on the gas stove is ignited by the spark of the discharge.

The composition of the electronic igniter is mainly composed of power supply, high voltage ignition coil, distributor, ignition switch, spark plug, additional resistance and its short-circuit device, high and low voltage wires, etc.

High voltage ignition coil is commonly known as a high voltage ignition transformer, which is to give a low-voltage pulse current to the primary winding, and a high-voltage current (up to 10,000 or 20,000 volts) is induced in the secondary winding.

The igniter is not a transformer, high-voltage electricity is generated by high voltage ignition coil, high voltage ignition coil is a transformer, and the igniter is just an ignition controller that controls the moment when the high-voltage electricity is generated.
